When Ryan decided he wanted to relocate to Grand Rapids in 2022, little did he know the move would also lead to a fulfilling career as a financial advisor with Grand Wealth Management.
“I like to get to know people on a personal level, help them with their finances, and have good conversations along the way,” says Ryan. “I found that same level of energy and friendliness here at Grand Wealth. It’s been a natural fit.”
As a member of our advisory team, Ryan adds his planning experience and advisory interests to our high-touch, wealth management services. His day-to-day responsibilities include providing financial support to our clients. When he’s not participating in client meetings, Ryan helps assist with preparation and follow up.
Prior to joining Grand Wealth, he gained experience as a financial planner at a firm that provides investment and financial planning resources for advisors across the country. He enjoyed his role there, but was attracted to Grand Wealth’s personalized, fiduciary approach to client care.
Ryan holds a bachelor’s degree in financial counseling and planning from Purdue University. He also completed a Financial Planning Association (FPA) “externship” program during the height of the pandemic.
Ryan relocated to Grand Rapids based on how much there is to do in and around town. From the nearby state parks, to the minor league hockey and baseball teams, to downtown’s vibrant night life, he quickly made himself at home. That said, having grown up near the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana, Ryan still enjoys traveling back to attend various games, and cheer on his favorite teams. He is a golfer and soccer player himself.
