After Nancy’s interviews with the Grand Wealth Team she knew Grand Wealth Management was where she wanted to continue her career. Being a highly skilled executive assistant with decades of experience, attention to detail, and a passion to support executives, she is thrilled and honored to be a part of this dynamic team of brilliant wealth management colleagues.
Nancy joined us in 2022, to support our Leadership Team’s activities. Her skills set and critical thinking is key to supporting Jeff Williams and Steve Starnes, which allows them to focus on serving our clients at the highest level and developing our team’s talent. She manages calendars, communications, and travel plans; builds operational efficiencies; implements project-based tasks; and oversees other administrative duties that may routinely or spontaneously arise.
“I love the culture here,” she says. “Everyone exemplifies professionalism, accountability, and the spirit that we’re all in this together benfitting our Clients with the highest level of satisfaction. I’m at my professional happiest when I can be part of a team that truly cares about rowing in the same direction with the primary focus toward achieving our solid goal of what’s best for the Clients we serve. The team works hard for continuous success of that goal, and I assist in any way needed.”
Prior to joining Grand Wealth, Nancy was a senior executive assistant to the president and CEO of a global IT consulting firm for nearly five years, and an executive assistant at a leading office design company before that. She also was an experienced human resource specialist at an automotive supplier manufacturing company, and in senior administrative assistant and early elementary classroom positions during her East Grand Rapids Public Schools tenure for 21 years.
In the office or around town, the first thing you’ll notice about Nancy is her joyful enthusiasm for growing “younger and wiser” (in her own words). She’s an avid cyclist, who loves embarking on spontaneous weekend road trips, dinner and weekend brunch with family and girlfriends, concerts, and enjoys participating in her Polish heritage cultural events. She also is a community volunteer, currently for Kids’ Food Basket, and Beer City Dog Biscuits, which provides productive and social opportunities for handicapable adults. Look for those biscuits for sale around town. Nancy is a proud Mom of two great children. Her son and daughter are pursuing their own professional careers. Even though they are miles apart, they are very close in smiles and hearts. When they are together at home or on family vacations, life is the best. Her favorite.
