Ellie has over 33 years’ experience working with individuals and families on their personal financial needs and providing financial and benefit plan education to corporate executives and employees. She joined Grand Wealth Management as a principal in 2006.
Ellie’s area of expertise is helping clients enhance their financial well-being by making best use of their employer-provided benefit plans— including factoring in their retirement, health care, disability and other group benefits. She is also committed to advising women of all ages and circumstances on how to achieve financial security. “I feel I’m doing my best work when I’m able to make it easier for hardworking men and women alike to meet their retirement goals.”
Before joining Grand Wealth Management, Ellie was a Senior Manager in Ernst & Young’s national Human Capital practice, where she developed and managed financial education and counseling programs for employee and executive groups. Before that, she worked for 14 years in the Institutional Trust and Private Banking groups at several West Michigan area banks.
In her free time, Ellie dabbles in gardening, cooking, creative arts, reading and a range of outdoor activities. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family (including her two Jack Russell Terriers), and is treasurer for her neighborhood homeowners association.
